What TestMaadu is
TestMaadu Smart Inspector is a Chrome extension for people who write automated tests. You click an element or capture a live API call, review what TestMaadu found, and get Playwright or Selenium code with comments, ready to paste into your project.
It exists to take away the slow, repetitive part of automation testing, such as hunting for a dependable locator or typing the same status and header assertions again and again, and to leave the decisions to you.
How it is built
- Private by design. Inspection and code generation happen in your browser. Pages, requests and generated code are not sent to us.
- No token meter. Code comes from TestMaadu’s own rules rather than a paid AI model, so there are no tokens or API keys to manage.
- Honest about what it knows. TestMaadu shows why it picked a locator and what evidence was missing, and generated code is meant to be reviewed.
Who is behind it
